DISAPPOINTING NEWS FOR "LEFT BEHIND" FANS ________________________________________ DISAPPOINTING NEWS FOR "LEFT BEHIND" FANS _________________________________________ If you're one of millions of "Left Behind" fans eagerly awaiting the next release in the series, you're in for a long wait this time. Tyndale House, the publisher of the series, has announced that it is slowing the pace of the scheduled release dates for the final four titles. Tyndale now will release only one adult title per year instead of two. This means that the next book in the series, "Desecration," will not be released until October 30, 2001. Tyndale is slated to release the remaining books "Armageddon," "Left Standing" and "Glorious Appearing," in June 2002, 2003 and 2004, respectively. Tyndale cites the pressure placed on the company in producing these incredibibly popular books, and author Jerry Jenkins' desire to tend to some personal business, as reasons for slowing the series' pace.
